Dr. Anderson grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. He attended Brigham Young University in Utah and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience with a minor in business management. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Des Moines University in Iowa and then completed a three-year surgical residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He received extensive training in foot and ankle surgery from some of the best foot and ankle surgeons in the United States. Dr. Anderson is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He joined Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle in 2023.
Dr. Anderson loves the outdoors and spending time with his wife and three children. When he’s not dedicating himself to his patients, he loves taking advantage of all the adventures Idaho has to offer. This includes downhill skiing, camping, dirt biking, motorsports, snow machining, and anything involving the snow. He loves a good competitive game of racquetball and spending time in the garage on his woodworking projects.
Through his own injuries, Dr. Anderson has experienced how foot and ankle injuries can impact your life and is committed to helping his patients overcome these challenges. The foot is often a neglected part of medicine and Dr. Anderson is determined to change this. From treating cases of trauma, arthritis, deformity, as well as adult and adolescent reconstruction, Dr. Anderson is ready to help his patients get back on their feet.
